Running Your Route
Get an efficient drive order, read access notes on the map, and navigate in one tap.
Open the Route Map from the Schedule tab to see your day geographically.
Optimize the order
Tap Optimize Route and YardPath sequences your pending stops into an efficient nearest-neighbor drive order using Apple’s routing. Stops appear as numbered pins, color-coded by status (gray = scheduled, orange = in progress, green = complete).
Offline down a rural road? YardPath falls back to straight-line distance and labels the result an estimate, you still get a sensible order without a connection.
Access notes at the curb
Each stop in the list shows the customer’s access notes, gate codes, “park on the street,” “beware of dog”, right on screen, so you’re not digging through text threads when you pull up.
Reordering by hand
Drag any not-yet-started stop to move it. Jobs already in progress or complete stay locked in place at the top so you can’t accidentally shuffle finished work.
Navigate
Tap a stop to hand its address to Maps for turn-by-turn directions. Come back to YardPath to mark the job through its status flow.
Tip: keep customer addresses accurate so pins land in the right place, YardPath geocodes the address you enter on the customer record.
